COPPER COUNTRY WINTERIZATION SERVICE/LEARNING PROJECT
New Power Tour works with undergrads from Michigan Tech University, training high school students from local alternative schools to provide free home winterization and energy audit services for low-income and elderly members of our community.
Our simple 10-step winterization program makes an economic and thermal difference in the lives of our elderly and lower income neighbors, and undergrad and high school students are learning hands-on skill sets that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.
