Winterization Volunteering

Our Impact:

New Power Tour, Inc. has winterized over 110 homes since its creation in 2006.

We have also replaced over 6,000 incandescent lights to efficient LEDs in Houghton County.

Through individuals, grants, and corporate donations, New Pour Tour, Inc. has secured significant funding to improve the energy efficiency of homeowners and businesses in the Copper Country.

What's it like?

At New Power Tour, Inc., we LOVE our volunteers. We wouldn't be able to make such a great impact without them! We would love to have you join our team. We help out our neighbors across the Western Upper Peninsula, to make their homes more efficient and comfortable. We meet on alternating Saturdays in the winter from 10AM to 1PM. Try it out, and see how fun and rewarding our work can be!

Perks to
Partnering with US

While New Power Tour, Inc. helps people improve their houses, we are about so much more. We teach our volunteers valuable skills and methods to improve their own homes. So let's put on some fun clothes that can get dirty and make a difference; one can of spray foam at a time.

I would like to thank Melissa Davis and her team of workers for doing a great job insulating my home

It was refreshing to see these young adults eager to learn, and they were very in tune with what Melissa was teaching them.

They worked so quickly and cheerfully insulating waterpipes, electrical sockets, door weather stipping, etc. I truly enjoyed having all of them in my home.
